The Library locates in the teaching zone of the new campus in the main of the Jiangsu University. From the planning degree,  the planning emphasizes the sequence and extension of the campus north-south landscape axis, and takes the library as an important node to organize the different landscapes before the campus. The modeling of the building is simple and pure. The main building is designed as an axis-symmetric rectangle and the Grand Auditorium as an accessory is taken out from the main body, which aims to highlight the features of the new library location – memorial, at the same time emphasizes the axis sequence of the plan, elevation and section, and represents the Chinese traditional architectural character: space-time integration and the pursuit of group harmony.  The internal space is created through expressing water, bamboo and bridge culture together to form a people-oriented, teaching, educating and cultured environment. The architectural language of the facade adopts the Context and Texture of the campus building and the library space is organized through slice-shaped form and axis, so that the new building and the surrounding environment can coordinate well with each other.
