The architectural design means to continue the city's historical context, aking the integrated environment pleasant and comfortable. We arrange different functions respectively at the three edges of the"┌┐"-shaped flat. The function spaces are connected by the central lobby, the atrium and the courtyard, and are organized into a clear sequence through the axis of the space. The intersections of sequences provide places for people to communicate with their heart. People will gain not only healthy but also friendship there. Also, the courtyards in the air are created to evoke the beautiful memories deep in our heart long ago; and the overlapping courtyard express best wishes to the users in Chinese tradition.
We used the method of subdivision to divide the body of the new building into consecutively variational contour line, which significantly reduced the height of the wall, effectively weakened the stocky sense of the building body, and naturally created a coherent overall image. Such design enhanced the characteristic and identifiability of the building. We use the zinc titanium gray-green boards for the roof, and the traditional gray brick to build the wall. These new and old materials not only convey the characteristics of high-tech, but also attract people around to look back to the dark between the walls.
