Baijia Building Sales Office locates in Huilongguan Area of Beijing, close to the Baijia Zhongcheng Residential Community. The use functions of the Sales Office include reception,negotiation and offices.Influenced by the landforms and the surrounding environment, the design chooses walls and yards to organize space and route, in order to let people experience the rich and highly stratified space in the narrow and long building.The south facade makes use of the cantilevered structure to make the building as if floating on the grass. Through the entrance of the sales office, the steps are guided by a low wall. There is a large cantilever at the south side of the building, which makes large areas of shadow on the floor windows, reduces the load of summer air-conditioning and meanwhile adds a transitional space before entrance.The second-period office building is connected with the north entrance of the sales office. Limited by the external conditions, several small internal courtyards are used to offer lighting and ventilation for the office, which can also be taken as open resting place in good weathers.The courtyard has brought an unexpected interesting element to the original simple office space, and also perfect combined with the sales office.
